UH is a dedicated place to celebrate the craft and the process of pour-over coffee, and also serves as a furniture piece that could live in any space.

We were inspired by how the tea ceremony gives so much respect to both tea and craftsman. It is never about making anything faster or easier with automation. It is about the right vide, right mood and good craftsmanship.

UH, named after it’s graphical silhouette, embodies our appreciation of the I-Beam - a simple yet structurally sound form. UH consists of multiple precise plate 6061 aluminum for base and 5052 aluminum for top curved piece, and is TIG welded together, forming a robust central I-beam structure. This gives UH a visual lightness but also be able to read as a substantial object.

With simple indicators, UH provides only the necessary aids while making the technology hidden.

Part of the experience of UH includes the relationship and visual harmony when all the components are working together. The kettle, dripper, mug and the scale create a well proportioned graphical landscape.
